This creation shows shields marked with the star system of Mieyaay, The Seven Sisters. Focusing on the works in a different manner exposes the view of four trees marked in Gamilaray Style, that denotes the scared tree markings of our people. These works were only properly and traditionally created by these fully initiated and highly educated men of lore.
This work express the knowing that the shields come from the living timbers of our Mother Earth & it is these very same shields held by our warriors that were the protection of our scared human.
