Cultural Awareness & Reconciliation Through Art & Story
CARTAS (Cultural Awareness & Reconciliation Through Art & Story) is a series of optional & individually tailored teaching workshop sessions developed and presented by Peter “Mu-raay Djeripi” Mulcahy, professional Aboriginal Fine Artist, Storyteller & Indigenous Teacher of 33 years.
Topics which could be covered in your school curriculum may include:
Throughout 33 years of Teaching by prominent elders, an inclusive education style has been developed. This benefits students from prep to year 12 in a unique form of cultural education, incorporating ancient knowledge, with modern-day applications.
Public, private, independent & Christian colleges, call upon Peter to work with their staff and students, in a whole of class or group teaching activities.
Peter also works with individual & small groups in a mentoring capacity with Indigenous youth. CARTAS can be custom tailored to fit your specific school & college requirements.

Based on whole day teaching sessions, if required Peter is able to provide paints/ canvas/ paper & other requests as extras, if school chooses not to provide own. Art classes can use pencil/ pens & provide own paper Sessions (45-50mins) normal class size, numbers can be extended on request.
Sunshine Coast: (Gympie – Caloundra) $660 per day
Brisbane: (South of Caloundra, Redlands, Brisbane to Ipswich) $750 per day
South West: (Gold Coast – Toowoomba) $880 per day
(All other areas welcome including interstate $880 per day plus extra travel time+ petrol/flights)
